We always wanted a place we were going to bring our kids up and Rob and I will grow old together. When we landed with the block here we thought it’s probably an opportunity to build that home that we really like. We wanted to maximize what the block has to offer, I also wanted this wide living area so we can all come together as a family.
This was our first time building so it was a bit overwhelming, you kind of don’t know what to expect, transparency is the main thing from the start. I think the toughest part of when you’re dealing with residential builders, you hear the horror stories out there, lots of people have really bad experiences. We were confident we’d found the right team we wanted to build with. Another house that Begbie Bentham had built we actually liked the build we like the house so we don’t think we had to worry about too much along the way.
They’re a good Builder, were really proactive, they’re on top of a lot of things we just really felt aligned with James and Adam and our vision to get it all done. They made us feel quite involved, they were friendly, it’s like we’ve known them forever.
